A Republican President, a Democrat Senate, a Republican House.
This contract will payout at 100 if the combination of Republican/Democratic President and Republican/Democratic control of Senate and House of Representatives described in the contract exists after the 2008 elections
The contract will payout at 0 if the combination of Republican/Democratic President and Republican/Democratic control of Senate and House of Representatives described in the contract DOES NOT exist after the 2008 elections
Expiry will be based on the official results of the 2008 presidential and congressional elections, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources.
A party will be considered in control of the Senate if they hold 51 (or more) Senate seats, or hold 50 Senate seats and have the Senate vote of the Vice President of the United States in his or her role as President of the Senate.
A party will be considered in control of the House of Representatives if they hold 218 (or more) seats.
For expiry purposes any Senate or House seat held..
